The legendary mountain in the middle of Cape Town!

Since the first person laid eyes on Table Mountain, Cape Town's monolithic badge of honor, it has exerted its powerful and charismatic pull, enchanting and drawing any and all who fall under its spell.

The way to the top was never easy, and for many centuries only a handful of bold and enterprising people could say that they had climbed it.

Today an exhilirating 3 and half minute trip aboard your revolving cabin on the Cableway soon brings you to the top - and the views!

On a clear day one can see over Cape Point, False Bay, the City basin and coastal resorts, Robben Island and out to Table Bay. Awesome!

For those seeking thrills try abseiling from the top, or walking up from just past the Cableway station. (Adults take around 1 and half hours to walk to the top and children aged +/- 10 years about 2 hours)

The newly rennovated self service restaurant serves meals from breakfast time to tea time, and in the summer months the cableway stays open to allow visitors to enjoy Cape Town's stunning sunsets with a glass of bubbly!

Opening times are from 8:00 am and closing times vary through the year from 19:30 - 22:00 in the Summer School Holiday period - 16th December - 15th January.
