DAY ONE – FOUR
Today you will arrive at Cape Town International Airport (flight not included) and you will collect your hire car and self-drive to the heart of Cape Town. Here you will stay at the charming and stylish Blackheath Lodge 4* for 4 nights in a de-luxe King Room including breakfast. Using this area as a base you can easily explore all that Cape Town has to offer, including the upscale beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay, the Cape Peninsula, Table Mountain, Constantia Winelands and much more.
DAY FIVE & SIX
Today you will self-drive to the beautiful Cape Winelands town of Franschhoek. You will stay for 2 relaxing nights at the romantic Maison Chablis 4* in their annex suite with private pool including breakfast. You cannot help but enjoy yourself in this town. Surround by mountains, the town lies in a valley and has a very strong French history which is reflected in the cuisine and overall theme of the centre. The vintage wine tram is a fabulous way of getting around to some of the best wineries in the region, and the small town has some of the best restaurants in the Cape Area. All within strolling distance of Maison Chablis.
DAY SEVEN & EIGHT
Today you will start your trip on to the famous Garden Route. This route offers scenic mountain and coastal views. For the next two nights you will stay at the unspoilt coastal area of Wilderness, right next to the vast sandy beach. Ocean View offers exactly what it says, and your room will be their Penthouse Suite with a private deck overlooking the beach. The quaint village centre offers a lot of varied restaurants and bars. The stay includes breakfast.
DAY NINE & TEN
Today you will drive to the heart of the Garden Route to the coastal town of Plettenberg Bay. Here you will stay at the lovely Emily Moon River Lodge. Located just outside of town lying high above the Bitou River as it winds its way to the Ocean, Emily Moon offers its guests so many things to enjoy that you may never want to leave! Plettenberg Bay area abounds with wildlife and adventure activities from walking with Cheetah, up close encounters with Elephants, watching the primates have fun at Monkeyland and much more. If you would like some adrenalin-based adventures then try the bungee jump from the Storms River Bridge (not for the faint hearted) followed by a relaxing picnic lunch in the vines at Bramon Wine Estate.
DAY TWELVE – FOURTEEN
Today you will continue your drive to the Eastern Cape. Here you will check into the Kareiga Private Game Reserve where you will spend 3 nights at their newly refurbished Ukhozi Lodge 4*. You will stay in a King Suite with private deck and plunge pool. Your stay here includes all meals, selected wines and beverages, soft drinks, teas and coffee. You will enjoy two exhilarating game drives each day (early morning and late afternoon) and as an added bonus, at least one river cruise during your day
DAY FIFTEEN
Today after your last early morning game drive and breakfast, you will check out of your room and return your hire car to Port Elizabeth Airport where you will board your connecting flight home. (Flights not included)
