14 Night Pocket Friendly Classic Itinerary 

DAY ONE – FIVE

You arrive at Cape Town International Airport (Flights not included) and you will pick up your hire car. You will self-drive to the 4* Hollow on the Square Hotel

DAY SIX - EIGHT

Today you will self-drive the scenic route out to the Cape Winelands town of Franschhoek. You will stay for 3 nights at Maison Chablis in this romantic and chic town. Jump on the vintage wine Tram and enjoy a day wine tasting around some of the best wine estates in South Africa. In the evening wander to main street for some of the best restaurants in the Cape region.

DAY NINE - TWELVE

Today you will continue on your drive to the heart of the Garden Route, to the coastal town of Plettenberg Bay. Here you will stay for 4 nights where the lagoon meets the ocean at Milkwood Manor in a double inland view room. Plettenberg Bay has so many wildlife and adventure activities within easy reach and also some small wine estates worth visiting for lunch such as Bramon. You can spend your time visiting the nature reserves, the walking beach at Robberg, the sunbathing at Central Beach, The Elephant Sanctuary, Monkeyland, Birds of Eden and so much more …

DAY THIRTEEN & FOURTEEN

Today you will set off on the road to your exciting safari destination. Leaving after breakfast you should aim to reach the Main Lodge at Kariega Private Game Reserve for lunch and check in. After lunch you will relax before joining your fellow guests for your first afternoon game drive followed by your evening meal back at the Lodge. Day two you will rise early for the first game drive of the day returning in time for breakfast. The day is then yours to spend at leisure until lunchtime. There are activities available on the reserve such as canoeing, fishing and hiking, or maybe you would like a relaxing massage in the reserve’. Your ranger will be happy, on request, to accompany you on a nature walk. After lunch your day continues as Day One. On your last morning you will again rise early to get out to see the animals before the temperatures rise. On return you will enjoy breakfast before check out at 10h00.

You will return your hire car at Port Elizabeth Airport and check in for your connecting flight to the UK. (Flights not included
