Desert Homestead Lodge offers casual, natural hospitality. At the beginning of 2014, the lodge was environmentally modernized as part of a major refurbishment. Electricity generation and hot water production are now completely based on solar energy.
The Desert Homestead Lodge, located 30 km south-east of Sesriem, is the starting point for tours of the Namib-Naukluft National Park to Sossusvlei and the Sesriem Canyon. Or she is an oasis of relaxation after a day trip to the highest dunes in the world. The lodge is located in a private nature reserve, adjacent to the UNESCO World Heritage "Namib Sand Sea".
